Disrupted Art Exhibit- Opening Gala TONIGHT

If you have been into Everyday Joe’s during the past week, two things might have caught your attention:
1) A plethora of Christmas lights in the early stages of October
2) Pieces of black fabric covering things hanging on the walls.
Pleasantly, both the lights and the fabric-covered objects are part of the same dealy. That dealy is:
Disrupted
For the past 8 months, a large handful of Fort Collins best artists have been working towards this Saturday, October 11. At 7 pm, the lights will be on and the black canvases will be off and art will be seen. Art that is meant to awaken the numb. Art dealing with abortion, runaways, war, greed…and the redemption of all those things and the wonder of Hope.
At the opening, the artists will be present to answer questions and there will be music and there will be snacks.
Here are the artists:
Abigail Ackerman, Bryan Collins, Daryle Dickens, Missy Larson, Rachel Ann, Holly Voget, Dan Gorum, David Harrison, Martin Moore, Stephanie Nye, Mel Ratzlaff, Rachel Robichaux, Randall Stone, Coleen Whitfield
