While You Were Watching The Olympics: Dave Crossland

The other night, there was a show at Everyday Joe’s not to be missed. Unfortunately, many people missed it.

It seems that about half of the 60 or so people who usually come to see the Blackthorn Project chose to be at home to see the opening ceremonies for the Olympic games and a small Chinese girl lip-syncing a song. This is understandable…being that the latter event can only be seen every four years (the ceremonies, not the lip-syncing youngster). However, there were some things you missed.

Namely, Dave Crossland. Dave made a stop at Everyday Joe’s Friday as the opening act. He’s moving cross-country from Boston to L.A., taking breaks from his jaunt to play music. Not many folks were here for Dave’s set, which is unfortunate. However, I had enough mental capacity left at the end of a long day to recognize that a means of you seeing him needed to be made available. That is why computers with built in web cams are nice.

Please enjoy “Matthew Shephard” by Dave Crossland.
